Adelaide 36ers Star Avoids Ban After Early Guilty Plea

Adelaide 36ers centre Nick Rakocevic avoided suspension after entering an early guilty plea over an in-game incident that had resulted in an NBL charge. The decision cleared him to take the court against Melbourne United on 7 October.

His availability made no difference to the result. Adelaide fell to defeat, with coach Gleeson saying the team looked timid out there and failed to compete hard enough. Melbourne United broke out of a difficult stretch with the win.
